Senior Power Originator within Precept Power Solutions is responsible for power marketing and origination coverage for Precept Power’s North American market presence. Role will be responsible for finding and executing agreements that maximize portfolio value.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Leads power origination effort to wholesale counterparties in ISONE, NYISO, and PJM
- Actively manages and builds relationships with existing and new customers
- Utilizes expert knowledge in power marketing, commodity transaction structuring, and negotiation/contracting
- Acts as project manager with internal departments involved in large scale transactions
- Coordinates Origination activities internally
Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in power origination, preferably in ISONE, NYISO, and PJM
- Possess strong sales and deal structuring capabilities
- Proven ability to apply expert business and analytical skills to capture major deals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline
